mary was given a commision to make a necklace for a wife of the sultan with some rubies he had. She was a bit shocked when she got them because there were an awful lot, and they werent the kind of rubies we think of, they were a bright magenta pink, a colour Mary never liked. Well she made the necklace as a collarette because there were so many rubies and she had to deliver it so i went with her. She casually threw it in a carrier bag and we got on the tube. I said 'Arent you worried someone will steal it?' mary said 'Oh no, of course not, no one would think it was real!'😂😂😂
